Since 2001, 2020 have been running a course of acting classes, open to our registered artistes. We felt it was time that a resource was available to allow background artistes to learn more about the trade they are working in.

Taught by professional actor teachers, the course has been devised to promote on-screen confidence, improvisational skills and use of dialogue as well as providing practical advice on the job of acting.

We now have actors who are eager and able to take on those incidental roles, that add texture to the drama. We are confident they will be equipped to do a professional job.

Each year the acting classes culminate in a showcase at a West End Venue.

Remaining focused on the principles of screen rather than stage acting, the students present a series of short dramatic scenes drawn from all media. These scenes are selected to lend themselves to the internalised style a screen actor requires to be believable, and gives the actors a chance to put into practice what they have studied throughout the year
