2020 have embarked upon yet another short film. The title of this new endeavour is 'Postcards from the Front', using students from the 2020 Acting Classes, Chris Villiers and Liz Mckechnie once more girded their loins and set off to Margate with a script in their hands and hope in their hearts for a weekend of film making.
Arriving on Thursday evening in readiness for?a three day shoot, the crew quickly set about firming up the locations and discussing shots and camera angles. By nine o'clock the following morning the cameras were rolling and the film was underway.
Postcards from the Front : tells the story of a group of football fans, who gather every year to importalise the life and times of Wally Lyons, 'the best right boot West Ham and England ever had'. They meet to celebrate his birthday, each bringing with them a piece of Wally Lyons Memorabilia that they ave collected over the years. This birthday celebration has been organise by Harry (James Lowe), who has chosen the Walpole Bay Hotel, Margate, because Wally once stayed there in 1952. However that is not the only secret that is to be revealed.
