2020 have gone to the movies again - this time we have made another short film (running time: 17minutes) entitled: Mathilde of Bayeaux. It tells the story of how the Bayeaux Tapestry was?created in 1070.

Featuring a cast of 2020 stalwarts (below) and a fistful of film hardened professionals, Chris Villiers and Liz Mckechnie set out for the rolling hills of the north Somerset coast and a 12th century monastery called Cleeve Abbey.

With props borrowed from RADA and The English National Opera and costumes hired from a specialist historian, we set about?a three day shoot with prayers for good weather. Remarkably bathed in beautiful sunshine, we filmed 11th Century England and a present day documentary, as part of our small feature.

Everyone concerned had a seperate job as well as being a cast?member (from catering to art department, from props to?lighting etc) and all not only equipped themselves well but slept like a log.
